WHY DYNAMIC QR CODES

Why event teams use dynamic QR codes.

01 — DYNAMIC

Update content after badges are printed.

Speaker cancelled? Schedule changed? Update the destination URL in seconds. Every printed badge, lanyard, and program keeps working — no reprinting required.

02 — REUSE

Reuse QR codes across events.

After the event, redirect the same QR code to post-event recordings, a thank-you page, or your next event registration. One QR, used indefinitely.

03 — ANALYTICS

Measure engagement by session or zone.

Create separate QR codes for different sessions, stages, or areas. Compare scan volumes to understand which parts of your event generate the most interest.

04 — BRAND

On-brand QR codes for every touchpoint.

Match your event's color palette across badges, signage, and printed programs. Your QR codes are part of the design, not an afterthought.

EXAMPLE WORKFLOW

One QR code. Used throughout the whole event.

A conference prints QR codes on every badge linking to the live schedule. On the morning of day two, a keynote speaker cancels. The organizer updates the schedule URL in seconds — every badge already in attendees' hands points to the updated page automatically. No announcements, no reprinting.

01

Print badges and programs with one QR code

The QR links to the event schedule. Attendees scan it on arrival.

02

Update content on the day

A speaker drops out or a room changes. Update the QR destination before attendees notice. No reprinting, no announcements needed.

03

Redirect after the event

Point the same QR to post-event recordings, a feedback form, or your next event. Badges and lanyards stay useful long after the event ends.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can I update the schedule or speaker list after badges are printed?

Yes. With a dynamic QR code you can change the destination URL at any time. Printed badges and programs keep working — attendees always reach the current destination when they scan.

Can I use different QR codes for different sessions or areas?

Yes. Create a separate QR code for each session, stage, or area. You can then compare scan volumes to see which parts of your event generate the most interest.

Can I reuse QR codes for future events?

Yes. After the event, redirect the same QR code to post-event recordings, a thank-you page, or your next event registration. You do not need to print new materials each time.

Can I link to a feedback form or livestream?

Yes. A dynamic QR code can point to any URL: a feedback form, a livestream link, a speaker bio page, or a post-event survey. You can also change the destination whenever you need to.

Do static QR codes always work?

Yes. Static QR codes encode the destination URL directly into the code. They do not depend on our servers, so they always work — but they cannot be edited after printing.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of your billing period. After that, your existing dynamic QR codes continue redirecting to their last saved destination, so your printed materials do not suddenly stop working. Editing, analytics, new dynamic QR code creation, and advanced features are paused until you reactivate. Canceled accounts include a fair-use scan limit. Static QR codes always keep working because they do not depend on our servers.
