A rehearsal for your printed badges

Give badges a programme link that does not expose attendee data. Keep ticket validation in your registration system.

Open the destination over the venue’s mobile connection. Large PDFs and login screens slow down a queue.

Test time rules in the event’s timezone and keep a useful fallback page. Weekly rules are not calendar-date schedules.

After the event, update the destination to recordings or feedback. Leave the event name and date visible for people scanning an old badge.

Can I update the schedule or speaker list after badges are printed?
With a dynamic QR code you can change the destination URL at any time. Printed badges and programs keep working — attendees always reach the current destination when they scan.
Can I use different QR codes for different sessions or areas?
Create a separate QR code for each session, stage, or area. You can then compare scan volumes to see which parts of your event generate the most interest.
Can I reuse QR codes for future events?
After the event, redirect the same QR code to post-event recordings, a thank-you page, or your next event registration. You do not need to print new materials each time.
Can I link to a feedback form or livestream?
A dynamic QR code can point to any URL: a feedback form, a livestream link, a speaker bio page, or a post-event survey. You can also change the destination whenever you need to.
Do static QR codes always work?
Static QR codes encode the destination URL directly. They do not depend on InsightQR redirects, but the destination website must remain available. Their encoded URL cannot be edited after printing.
What happens if I cancel?
If you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of your billing period. After that, your existing dynamic QR codes continue redirecting to their last saved destination, so your printed materials do not suddenly stop working. Editing, analytics, new dynamic QR code creation, and advanced features are paused until you reactivate. Canceled accounts include a fair-use scan limit. Static QR codes do not depend on our redirect service; their destination must still remain available.
Does scanning a badge check someone into an event?
InsightQR opens a destination URL and counts scans. It does not validate tickets or record attendance. Link to your ticketing or registration tool for check-in, and keep attendee details out of a publicly printed URL.
