Report scan activity for each placement.
Scan counts, peak engagement times, device breakdown, and country data — for every flyer, poster, and direct mail piece. Scan activity is not a measure of unique people or sales.

A dynamic QR code can link to any URL. Here are common destinations agencies use — and you can change the destination anytime.

Client changed the landing page after print? Update the QR destination without going back to press, without touching the artwork, without explaining it to anyone.
After a campaign ends, redirect existing print placements to a new campaign or the client's homepage. Existing materials keep generating value.
Customize colors and styles for each campaign, then download a PNG. Test a printed proof at the final size before sending the full job to press.
An agency creates a unique QR code for each print placement — poster, direct mail, in-store display. After the run, the client changes their landing page URL. The agency updates the QR destination in the dashboard. The campaign keeps running. At the end of the month, the agency reports real scan data per placement.
One QR for the poster, one for the direct mail piece, one for the in-store display. Each placement tracked separately.
Update the destination in the dashboard. The campaign keeps running without going back to press.
Show scan counts, peak times, country, and device data. Compare engagement across placements; scans alone do not establish sales or ROI.
Create separate QR codes for each placement and compare results. Know which poster location, which direct mail segment, or which in-store display drives the most engagement.

Production checklist
Create one QR per placement you want to compare, within your plan limit. Name each QR for the client, campaign and support.
Put campaign parameters on the destination URL if the client uses them. Check the final landing page and its conversion tracking separately.
Deliver the saved dynamic QR image, its identifier and a tested print proof. Do not substitute a static export if the brief requires link changes.
Record who owns the account, who can update links and how long they must be maintained. InsightQR does not currently offer shared client workspaces or ownership transfers.
With a dynamic QR code you can change the destination URL at any time. Printed materials keep working — they always point to the current destination.
Create a unique QR code for each placement — poster, direct mail, in-store display, OOH. You can then compare scan volumes to understand which placements perform best.
You can create separate QR codes for client projects within your plan limit: Free 1, Starter 5, Pro 50, Business 250. Agree who owns the account and maintains the links. Shared client workspaces, ownership transfers and white-label reseller accounts are not currently available.
Each QR code tracks scan count, scan times, visitor country, and device type. The data updates in real time and is available from your dashboard.
Static QR codes encode the destination URL directly. They do not depend on InsightQR redirects, but the destination website must remain available. Their encoded URL cannot be edited after printing.
If you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of your billing period. After that, your existing dynamic QR codes continue redirecting to their last saved destination, so your printed materials do not suddenly stop working. Editing, analytics, new dynamic QR code creation, and advanced features are paused until you reactivate. Canceled accounts include a fair-use scan limit. Static QR codes do not depend on our redirect service; their destination must still remain available.
Record the printed placement, QR identifier, current destination, account owner and person responsible for updates. Agree how long links must be maintained. A scan count is not a sales report; measure conversions separately on the destination page.
